Pet Mutations are a new feature in Grow a Garden, introduced on July 12, 2025.
With this update, players can now mutate their pets, giving them the ability to boost garden growth and offer other useful benefits.
Mutations improve pets by adding new looks, better stats, and sometimes even unique passive abilities that help your garden grow faster or increase your income.
There are currently 12 different pet mutations, each with its own rarity and special effects.

How to Get Pet Mutations in Grow a Garden
To get Pet Mutations in Grow a Garden, you need to submit a pet that is level (age) 50 or higher into the Mutation Machine, located next to the Egg Merchant Shop.
Once submitted, the mutation process takes 1 hour to complete.
However, you can skip the wait time by paying 49 Robux.
The outcome is based on chance, and it works whether your pet is Shiny or not.
Note: If you submit a pet that’s already mutated, the new mutation will overwrite the old one.
